Mr. Janahi started his investment career by joining Arab Insurance Group’s Investment Department in 1985 until he went abroad to complete his higher education in 1989. He then joined the Bahrain Development Bank at inception in 1992 as an Investment Executive Officer and then joined Esterad to set up the Company’s investment Department in 1994. Mr. Janahi was promoted to the position of Deputy Chief Executive in 2003, and then officially took over the position of Esterad’s CEO in May 2010.
Mr. Janahi has a Masters Degree in International Banking and Financial Studies, from University of Southampton, UK, and is a holder of the CFA charter awarded by the CFA Institute, USA. Mr. Janahi is a member of or a director in the following organizations:
Mr. Zaman joined Esterad in December 2010 from Investment Dar Bank where he spent four years as a Senior Director. Prior to that, he worked with Bahrain Development Bank where from its inception he spent fifteen years, attaining the position of Senior Vice President, Head of Operations and Administration. He also worked in several positions with Chemical Bank, Bahrain.
Mr. Zaman has an Advance Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance and is certified in Accounting and Business Administration.
Mr. Noor holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Bahrain. He has 22 years experience in portfolio management, project finance and project analysis. Mr. Noor worked with Merrill Lynch International, the Bahrain Saudi Aluminium Marketing Co. (BALCO) and Bahrain Development Bank before joining Esterad in 1998 as an investment Manager.

Mrs. Abdulghani joined Esterad in 2005. Her current responsibilities involve all aspects of the Company’s Private Equity and Real Estate activities regionally and internationally.
Mrs. Abdulghani holds a BSc. in Banking & Finance from the University of Bahrain. She is a CFA Charter holder and a member of or a director in the following organization:
